Now all you need is a 1/160 scale dockyard to combine your two hobbies. Of course your preferred scale 1/96 is closer to HO scale.

I used to have some 00 gauge but you could not get enough buildings and scenary on the layout, my lay out is 30 years old, have not touch it for over 20 years.

Its a 4 track system, each track is 100 ft long.

Down to 25 locos now, use to have 38.

Wagons 150

Coaches 80.

Stations 3

Marshalling yard 1

Controllers 3 + 1 Hand held for marshalling yard,

Farms 1 /Canal and locks

Garden centre 1

Village 1

My next loco is a British Rail 2-10-0 9F class

What's left of my layout is covered with dust too. I'd love to build a new one, but there is only so much time in the day.
