Hi, more loco,s

1, A Great Western loco of the Castle class, 4-6-0, built around 1927.

2, A new line tamping loco.

3, Second photo of a 2-6-2 tank loco of the GWR.

I notice that many of the grander engines are named after famous people.

It all depends on the region, LMS, LNER, Southern region, GWR.

These companys in the steam hayday had 1000,s of loco,s each.

LMS
PATRIOT CLASS, JUBILEE CLASS, ROYAL SCOT CLASS, PRINCESS ROYAL CLASS, CORANATION CLASS most of this class was named after City,s , such as CITY OF CHESTER and CITY OF LIVERPOOL.

Royal Scot class was named after Regiments in the British Army,

Jubilee Class a lot was named after places in the British comonwealth, such as Canada, Bahamas, also some were named after ships , Hood, Renown.

2, British Rail 0-4-0 tank engine, built 1930

3, Great North Railway 0-6-2 tank, part of the LNER, built about 1920.

1, 92000 9f 2-10-0 of British Rail built 1950,s

2, GWR 2-6-0 Hall Class, built 1927.

3, 0-6-0 tank engine from one of the very small company,s, in BR livery.
